The main access to the area is via the fjord, where the current farm stands.

It is also possible to enter the Ipiutaq area by foot from Ilua, on the other side of the mountain, where there is a valley with a lake and a river, one of the best places for Arctic char fishing in Greenland.

This is where new fields will be cleared with an area for camp or cabins, and a new way connecting both sides.
